This bank barn in Waterford was simply too beautiful, historical, and not so far gone, as to let fall to the ravages of time. After being contacted by the owners, our team evaluated the integrity of the structure, assessed the damaged of time, wind and storms, and came up with a procedure to safely get the covering/exterior removed, then stabilize the roof and interior shell of the missing wall. Using less expensive milled Southern Yellow Pine rather than Oak replacement columns, beams and purlins, we were able to get this rehab done within a budget that worked for our client. New partial standing seam roof, and painting also included. Now this structure stands and an example of the historical preservation in Loudoun County. Fuog/InterBuild has build many new barns but has also worked extensively with refurbishing old barns and arenas.
